To add a booking form to a cleaning business website, pick one of three routes: a button that links to the hosted booking page your software already provides, an embedded form that sits on your own page, or a full instant-quote form that prices the job before the customer books. As of October 23, 2026, every cleaning tool we cover supports the first two, and most support the third.

This guide is for an owner who has a site, or is building one, and wants customers to book and see a price without calling. It covers what each route requires from your website builder, the vendor-specific steps from each help center, and what to put on the page around the form. If you have not chosen a booking tool yet, start with how to let customers book a cleaning online, which compares the tools by size and price; if you have not chosen a builder, see the website builder comparison.

What are the three ways to take bookings on a website?

The three routes differ in where the customer ends up and how much you have to set up. A link is a few minutes of work and needs nothing from your builder. An embed keeps the customer on your page and needs a builder that accepts pasted code. An instant-quote form is the same embed with your price grid configured behind it, and it needs software that can price by service, home size, and frequency.

None of the routes requires code. What they require is a plan that includes the feature: ZenMaid, for example, puts booking forms on Pro at $39 a month, not on Starter, and Maidily’s hosted booking form starts on Start at $29, as of October 23, 2026, according to the ZenMaid pricing and Maidily pricing guides.

If you have not chosen the software yet, the scheduling software guide compares the booking tools by business size before you pick a route.

Every booking tool gives you a page it hosts itself, at the vendor’s address, where customers can book. Linking to it is the fastest route and the one to use if your website is a single page, a Google Business Profile, or a social bio.

  1. In your booking software, find the share link. Housecall Pro calls it the booking page link, under Settings, then Booking, Jobber gives each form a shareable link, Launch27 has a “Share a Link” section under Settings, then Booking Form, then Install Form, and Zenbooker lets you set a custom URL or domain for its booking page.
  2. Add a button to your site’s header or top section labeled “Book online” or “Get a price”, and point it at that link. On most builders a button is a standard block with a link field.
  3. Put the same link on your Google Business Profile’s booking field (if Google offers one for your category), your text signature, and your social bios, so every path leads to one place. The Google Business Profile guide covers the profile side.
  4. Open the link on your own phone and book a test job. Confirm the email or text you receive as the customer, then cancel the test in your software.

The limit of this route is branding and context. The customer leaves your page, and the hosted page shows what the vendor allows: your logo and services, not your photos, reviews, or policies. For a solo cleaner starting out that trade is fine, and the website how-to covers running with a hosted page and no site at all.

Route 2: How do you embed the form on your own page?

An embed places the vendor’s form inside your page. The customer never leaves your site, and the page around the form can carry your service area, what is included, and your cancellation policy. The generic steps are the same on every builder; the vendor notes below are where they differ.

  1. In your booking software, open the form’s install or share settings and copy the embed code. It is usually an iframe or a short script.
  2. In your website builder, create a page named Book or Get a price, and add an embed, custom code, or HTML block. On Wix, GoDaddy, and Hostinger’s builder this is a standard block, sometimes called Embed, Code, or HTML; on Squarespace, the code block that takes iframes and scripts starts on the Core plan.
  3. Paste the code into the block, publish the page, and load it on a phone. If the form is cut off, the builder is constraining the block’s height; most let you set it, or you can use the vendor’s link or pop-up variant instead.
  4. Add the Book page to your navigation and point your header button at it.
  5. Book a test job from the live page, confirm the notification arrives in your software, and cancel the test.

Vendor-specific notes, from each help center as of October 23, 2026:

  • ZenMaid offers a basic install, which is an iframe you paste onto your booking page, and an advanced install with more display options: a link or button anchored to #zenmaid-booking-forms that opens the form, or a container that loads the form automatically. ZenMaid states the advanced install does not work on Squarespace, Wix, and GoDaddy, so use the basic install there. Booking forms are a Pro feature.
  • BookingKoala provides iframe codes inside the account that you copy and paste into a page on your existing builder, and its own website builder has a custom code element for the same purpose.
  • Maidily states on its online booking page that you can host the booking form on Maidily’s site or embed it in your existing website. The hosted form starts on Start; Maidily does not state which plan the embed needs (its pricing table lists custom website integration on Scale), so confirm before relying on it.
  • Launch27 installs as a widget: go to Settings, then Booking Form, then Install Form, choose your preferences, and paste the code into any page. Its knowledge base has a separate article for Wix, and the “Share a Link” section on the same screen gives the hosted link for Route 1.
  • Zenbooker offers four embed types: inline (the form on the page), a floating button in the lower right corner of every page, an inline button that opens the form as a pop-up, and a full-page embed. All four are described as responsive and mobile friendly.
  • Jobber gives each request and booking form a shareable link and an embed code, plus a WordPress plugin and a Wix plugin that add the forms as blocks or widgets with no code. Jobber notes that the payment method field does not display on embedded forms, only on the client hub version.
  • Housecall Pro gives you a booking button embed code that places a “Book online” button on your site and opens the booking flow in a window on top of your page, plus a booking page link for Route 1. Both are in Settings, then Booking, under Booking page link.

Route 3: Which tools offer an instant-quote form?

An instant-quote form is an embedded form with your price grid behind it. The customer picks a service, bedrooms and bathrooms, frequency, and add-ons, watches a total update, and books at that price. It is likely to book more standard cleans than a request form, because the customer gets an answer without waiting, and it filters the jobs you cannot price blind into a quote request instead. Write your price tiers before touching the software; the online booking guide covers the field order, and the Cleaning Price Calculator turns your costs and target earnings into the per-visit price the grid needs.

Two configuration details matter more than the tool. First, set a minimum booking price so a customer cannot assemble a tiny job; ZenMaid exposes this as a setting, and on other tools the lowest tier of the grid can do the same job. Second, decide what the form does when the answer is “it depends”: very large homes, post-construction, hoarding situations. Route those to a quote request with a photo upload rather than letting the form guess.

If online booking is the lever you are counting on to pay for software at all, run the Software Break-Even Calculator first: online booking is one of its three levers, and it shows how many new recurring clients a year the form would need to bring to cover the plan.

What should the page around the form say?

The form does the booking; the page does the convincing. Keep it to one screen above the form on a phone and put these four things on it, in this order:

  1. Service area. The neighborhoods or zip codes you cover, in a sentence. Zenbooker forms can check the zip code first, and so can BookingKoala’s multi-step forms on Premium; on other tools the sentence saves a wasted booking.
  2. What a standard clean includes. A short list, and a link to the full checklist. The standard house cleaning guide is the reference for what goes on it.
  3. Cancellation and access policy. One or two lines: the notice you need, the fee if any, and how you handle keys. Long legal text belongs on its own page, linked from here; the cancellation policy guide has the wording.
  4. Proof. Two or three review quotes and a photo of you or the crew. Reviews go on the page as text, not as a widget that slows it down.

Below the form, add the phone number for people who would rather call, and a plain sentence that says a card on file is required and is not charged until the visit is done, if that is your policy.

How do you test it on a phone?

Test on a real phone over mobile data, not on your desktop, because that is how most customers arrive from a Google search.

  1. Load the Book page from the site’s navigation and time how long the form takes to appear.
  2. Fill in a test booking as a customer, choosing the smallest service, and watch for fields that are cut off, a price that does not update, or a date picker that is hard to tap.
  3. Submit, and check that you receive the vendor’s notification and that the job appears on your schedule with the right price and frequency.
  4. Check the confirmation the customer receives, then cancel the test job in your software so it does not count in your reports.
  5. Repeat on the other platform, iPhone or Android, if you can borrow one, and once a quarter after any change to the form or the site.

Key takeaways

  • Three routes: link to the vendor’s hosted booking page, embed the form on your own page, or embed an instant-quote form with your price grid behind it.
  • Every cleaning tool we cover supports the link and the embed; BookingKoala, Zenbooker, ZenMaid, Housecall Pro, and Launch27 describe instant pricing on the form as of October 23, 2026.
  • Plan level matters: ZenMaid’s booking forms are on Pro and Maidily’s hosted form starts on Start.
  • Jobber’s payment field does not show on embedded forms; ZenMaid’s advanced install does not work on Squarespace, Wix, or GoDaddy.
  • The page around the form carries the service area, what is included, the cancellation policy, and proof; test the whole path on a phone.

Frequently asked questions

Can customers book without creating an account?

Usually yes. Jobber's online booking asks for a name, email, and phone to complete a booking and does not mention an account step, Housecall Pro's booking flow runs in a window on top of your site, and ZenMaid's form collects details on the page. Where a tool offers a customer portal, check that the account can be created after the first booking rather than before it. Keep any login requirement off the form: it is the step where people leave.

Does an embedded form slow down my site?

A little, because the form loads from the vendor's servers inside your page, but on a normal cleaning site it is not the thing that makes the page slow. Oversized photos are. If speed worries you, use the link or button route: the page stays light and the form opens on the vendor's hosted page or in a pop-up window. Test on a phone over mobile data, which is how most visitors will see it.

Can I take a deposit at booking?

With several tools, yes. Housecall Pro's help center says you can collect deposits or full upfront payments when a customer books, and Zenbooker's plans include saved cards and deposits as of October 23, 2026. Jobber's payment method field is optional and, for security, does not show on embedded forms, only on the client hub version. A card on file is the minimum worth asking for; a deposit makes sense for one-time deep and move-out cleans.

Which cleaning software has an instant-quote form?

BookingKoala's booking forms let customers pick services and see prices, Zenbooker's widgets show instant pricing, ZenMaid's form uses price sliders to show an estimate, and Housecall Pro's pricing forms price by quantity, hours, frequency, square footage, and add-ons, as their pages describe as of October 23, 2026. Launch27's knowledge base shows bedrooms, bathrooms, and square feet setting the price on its form, and Jobber shows an estimated price and duration per service. Maidily embeds forms but does not state on the pages we checked whether a home-size price appears on the public form.

Can I add booking to a Google Business Profile instead?

Yes, if Google offers booking links for your business category, and you should do it as well as, not instead of, your site. Where the profile has a booking link field, the hosted booking page from your software works there with no website at all. That covers a solo cleaner for a while. The profile cannot hold photos of your work beyond the gallery or your policies, which is what the website page around the form is for.
