Who we serve

We write for people who do the work and run the business at the same time. A solo house cleaner deciding whether a booking app is worth $30 a month. A two-person crew that is losing track of recurring clients in a paper notebook. A growing company with three teams that needs dispatching but not an enterprise contract.

Generic small-business advice tends to skip these owners. Software reviews are written for companies with an office manager. We fill that gap, starting with residential cleaning, and expanding to other trades (lawn care, pool service, detailing, pest control, handyman, pet care) as the cleaning guides prove useful.

What we publish

  • Software comparisons with prices that show the date we verified them.
  • Pricing breakdowns that translate vendor plans into what a small crew would actually pay.
  • How-to guides for the unglamorous parts: online booking, quoting, invoicing, reviews, local listings.
  • Free calculators and planning tools that run in your browser, with no account required.

How we make money

Some links to software vendors are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We disclose this above the first affiliate link on every page. Affiliate status never decides what we recommend; several tools we cover in depth pay us nothing. Details are on the affiliate disclosure page.

How we compare software

We research from public sources: vendor pricing and feature pages, help centers, changelogs, app-store listings, and patterns in owner forums. We do not claim hands-on testing, and we do not invent ratings, testimonials, or user counts. The full method is on the methodology page.

Who is behind it

Owner bio coming before launch. SmallCrew HQ is run by a Miami-based small-business owner and native Spanish speaker who has spent years working alongside owner-operated service companies. A full bio with public contact details will appear here.

Spanish content

Many small cleaning and service businesses in the US are run by Spanish speakers, and almost no software comparison content exists for them. A Spanish version of this site is planned. Until then, the /es/ section shows a short notice.
